Mrs. Sade Ogunde holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Ife, (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and also holds the Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Mrs Ogunde has had a successful career in accountancy and finance spanning over 30 years. She was trained as auditor in the firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells and spent a significant part of her working life with UAC of Nigeria Plc, where she served in positions including Management Accountant, Divisional Commercial Director, Group Treasurer and Finance Director of UPDC Plc, where she retired in May 2016. She has attended several general management and real estate courses in local and international schools including Ashridge Management School, Cranfield University, Harvard Business School and International Management Development (IMD) Institute. She now spends her daytime as a management and financial consultant and serves on other corporate boards including First World Communities Limited, FSDH Asset Management Limited and the International Crops Research Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), headquartered in Patancheru India. She was appointed as independent director of R.T. Briscoe Plc and Briscoe Properties Limited in April 2017 and April 2019 respectively.
